No criticism detected! And his 'earning' is a bit liberal, nay, tenuous, with a bit of humour thrown in... 8)

Its ok am not a badge nazi ..... well not about ones I don't know  drk ones would be a different issue

Def looking forward to the humourous description :D , I knew a few in the 101 ambush deserve a wound badge cos it hurt me included

Poor blokes going to avoid me all the sunday now isn't he

Its not quite FJ but its para troops related

As a brandenburger i wear...

Army parachute badge - cos the uniform would be daft withou it.
Wound badge - I got invlaided out the forces
Anti partisan - well *technically* my service was against irregular forces :)
Close combat clasp - i definatley have not earnt that one
IK II - 80 per cent of brandenburgers had it
jager patch and cuffitle - goes with being a BB
Afrika - well i've been there and been in the north african desert
Kreta - nah but been very near....

Not realy, in the letter of the awards regs he did earn them, but I dowt that he would have been awarded the AA badge for a drone aircraft training, and the majority of the tanks were friendly vehicles that were sat on ranges. The rest tho, are pukka, first time I heard him tell some of his history I was well impressed.

BTW, Dont tell him I said that, he is crazy. LOL

I've got FJ kit, sadly miss-badged by a friend, but I'll remove those tonight.

I'm unable to make Normandy, but, next year I'm all in!

Zeltplane do them, they have size 2 & 3 for around £7

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/zeltplane-shop

They deliver faster than most UK shops too, got my Rucksack within 3 days! Their zelts are a good price too :)

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
